WAICY 2024: Global
WAICY 2024, the World Artificial Intelligence Competition for Youth, is a global event that brings together young minds from around the world to explore and showcase their talents in artificial intelligence. This year’s competition will feature a variety of tracks designed to challenge and inspire participants, encouraging them to innovate and apply AI in creative ways. With multiple physical locations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America, WAICY 2024 offers a truly international platform for students to develop their skills, connect with peers, and contribute to the ever-evolving field of artificial intelligence. Whether through coding, robotics, or creative AI applications, WAICY 2024 is where the next generation of AI leaders begins their journey, fostering education, collaboration, and the future of technology.

Submission deadline
The online submission form will close at 5:00 PM ET.
December 3
Allocate time slot
Participants of the final competition will be arranged a time section of attending the final WAICY.
December 6 & 7
Final competition day
Participants need to present in front of the judges and answer questions during the Q&A sessions.
December 8
Winner Announcement
The winners and awards will be announced online.
Competition Tracks
Create a project that showcases an AI solution for a real-world problem.
Based on this year’s theme, create artworks using text-to-image AI models like DALL∙E 2, Midjourney, or Stable Diffusion.
Instruct the AI to adopt a specific domain of expertise using popular AI Large Language Models, such as ChatGPT, Bard AI, and others.
Leverage AI tools to create a short video that either addresses a real-world problem or conveys a compelling message.
